On 15 April 2022, Foreign Trade University collaborated with VNU-CEA to conduct the opening ceremony of actual site visit to assess the quality of Foreign Trade University according to the Moet standards for the 2nd cycle.

At the ceremony, Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien expressed her honor when the Center for Education Accreditation, VNU continued to be chosen to assess FTU’s quality for the 2nd cycle. Ms Hien shared that Foreign Trade University is the 5th higher education institution to conduct accreditation according to the MOET’s standards for the 2nd cycle, which shows the high commitment of the University to continuously improve the education quality. She also acknowledged and appreciated the University’s immediate and careful preparation not only for this accreditation but also for the University’s improvements after the first cycle of accreditation. She affirmed that experienced assessors would work fairly and objectively in order to make a preliminary report before the closing ceremony.
From the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Anh Tuan warmly welcomed the assessors who would do the assessment of the University for the 2nd cycle. On behalf of the Management Board, he presented the overview of the University and the University ‘s self-assessment process. His presentation highlighted the updated and improved aspects of the University comprising of development strategy, organization structure, human resources, finance, facilities, training, research, cooperation, innovation, community service and quality assurance.
As planned, from April 15 to April 19, 2022, the assessors would examine on the evidence, discuss, work and interview all relevant stakeholders to complete the assessment as well as make the preliminary report of the official survey result.
