On November 16, 2023, after 3 days of hard work, Foreign Trade University coordinated with the Southeast Asian University Network (AUN) to organize the Closing Ceremony of the 363rd accreditation for 3 The University’s postgraduate training programs according to AUN – QA standards include: Executive master program in Business Administration (EMBA); Application-oriented Master of Business Administration program; Master’s program in International Economics (MIE), taught in English.

The assessment report is based on 8 standards focusing on the following areas: Expected learning outcomes; Structure and content of the program; Teaching and learning methods; Assessment and evaluation; Quality of staff; Learner Support Activities; Facilities and equipment; Learners’ outcomes.

Attending the closing session on AUN’s side were Associate Professor, Dr. Eric Wibisono – Head of the evaluation team, and experts in the evaluation team. On the side of Foreign Trade University, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Anh Tuan – Party Committee Secretary, President; Associate Professor, Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy – Party Commitee Deputy Secretary, Chairwoman of the University Council; Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thu Huong – Vice President; Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Ngoc Tien – Vice President; Dr. Nguyen Phuc Hien – Director of the Center for Testing and Quality Assurance; Associate Professor, Dr. Tang Van Nghia – Dean of the Graduate Studies; Heads/Deputies of the departments in charge of the 3 training programs along with leaders of other units in the school, representatives of staff, lecturers, learners, former learners and employers.

In his closing speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Anh Tuan – Principal of the School sent his most sincere thanks to the evaluation expert team for their dedicated and responsible work with the most objective spirit during the past 3 days. He said that the university has acknowledged the expert group’s opinions on the three training programs, and will plan to research and implement AUN’s recommendations to further improve the training quality of the three programs. , aiming to get closer to international standards.

At the closing session, the evaluation team members in turn presented the preliminary survey results, pointing out strengths and areas needing improvement, thereby proposing recommendations for each program.
