On April 11, 2017, conference on “Implementing quality improvement in Foreign Trade University” was held, based on external assessment result from Centre of Education Accreditation, Vietnam National University (CEA-VNU).
Management of faculties, departments, administrative units, Trade Union, Student Union, and Alumni Association were invited to the conference, which consisted of two phases.
In phase 1, main findings of external assessors and recommendations of Accreditation Committee, CEA-VNU were discussed, based on the following topics: (1) Mission and goals; (2) Organisation and management; (3) Education; (4) Students; (5) Research, technological application and transfer and international cooperation; (6) Library and facilities.
In phase 2, under the President and Vice Presidents’ coordination, solutions for quality improvement in (1) Human resource strategy; (2) Education and students; (3) Research and international cooperation; (4) Library and facilities.
At the end of the conference, Assoc. Prof. Bui Anh Tuan – President summarized discussion results,future agenda. The president also expressed his expectation that member of staff would unify and take effort in improving education quality and the university position in the future.
