On March 30, 2017, implementing Annual plan 2017-2018, Foreign Trade University held Annual conference on quality assurance on “Enhancement of stakeholder survey quality in Foreign Trade University”.
The conference sincerely welcomed Assoc. Prof. Bui Anh Tuan – President, Vice Presidents, representatives from other campuses, leaders of administrative units and faculties, quality assurance team, Secretary of the Youth Union, Chairman of the Student Union and so on.
At the conference, Assoc. Prof. Bui Anh Tuan emphasized the role of quality assurance in general, role of stakeholder survey activities to education quality management and improvement. Stakeholder surveys are conducted periodically, based on not only the University’s requirement in innovation and continuous quality improvement according to PDCA cycle but requirement from also the Ministry of Education and Training, especially student employability survey within 1 year since graduation.
Member of staff as well as students expressed their opinion on some important topic such as: solution for information management system; coordination between units in order to improve response rate, especially the role of faculty in student employability survey; employer survey; the role of the Youth Union and Student Union in establishing survey culture; the use of survey result…
Opinions collected during the conference were the foundation for the unit in charge to design specific solutions for improving stakeholder survey quality and using survey result efficiently.
